What's the offset on those wheels ?
I have factory 20x9 wheels , which I believe are a+19mm .

-12 is the offset

I'm still having issues with the new rim/tire set up. Have a 35" MT tires on all my trucks but they were 2500/3500 trucks. this 1500 seems like it can't handle this set up.

Im thinking about putting the stock wheels back on

Are you referring to handling, performance, both?
Handling. Stock suspension drove amazing After the bilstien it drove nice but i did notice the difference. As soon as the 35s when on it gelt like the truck has 200k miles. All over the road, hitting pothole would move the truck in every direction.

Im not sure if I messed up by changing rims from 20” to 17” then adding the bigger tire so there is more movement there?

That's unfortunate , there's a ton of guys here with 35s on a 1500 and a hand full with 37s . I've never heard of your situation .

I'm interested because I really like the look of 17" wheels @ -12mm with 35s [emoji106]

Gotcha, I tried E rated tires on my last 1500 and I didn't like it either. IMHO E rated tires may look good but belong on HD trucks. I stuck with OEM size and I love them. Falken Wildpeak AT3 gave me the look I was going for while maintaining ride quality. 1500's don't have the weight to tame 10 ply E rated tires.

I had 2008 with E rated tires and the ride was terrible. That’s why for my 2017 I didn’t want anything to do with them

View attachment 125576 All done! Took me 7 hours front and rear. I took my time and made a day out of it.

Looks perfect! Glad I found a solid thread of exactly what I’m trying to do to my (semi) new 2017 1500. With the front set at 2.8 did you get any settling? What was the final achieved height at 2.8 setting

Thanks! After initial install it sits a tad higher than 2.8 but settles back to 2.8 after a day or so.

Did you lift the rear. If you did it most likely is the panhard bar angle. You wouldn't think it would do much but it really does. Carli makes a relocation bracket that will smooth you back out if that is the case and only have a small spacer

Hey man I like how the truck looks. Jist wondering what mine would look like with .75 rear spacers and Bill's set at 2.8? I want barely any rake but enough that my headlights arent shooting to Mars when I have my quad on the bed of the truck. Thanks

Thanks! Your headlight should be fine. Any adjustments can be easily made in a matter of minutes.
