getting ready to pull the trigger on a pair of these and just wanted to see if anyone who runs these have had any problems. Just don't want to put them on and have issues with the cv's or any other front suspension components. just want them set to 1.4 inches to bring it up slightly. anyone have pics of there cv angles with them? thanks in advance

I have been holding off because of the shudder some people have talked about. A lot of people love them though

I also would say there would be no problems. I have a 2 in level on an Outdoorsman (gets a longer strut than other models for a total of 2.7 in of lift), and I have no problems with shudder from my CV axles either. The Bilsteins do basically the same thing as the spacer, so you should be fine. Especially only on the 1.4 setting.

2.8 here. I have some vibration with 4wd on, but it's the same as before the blisteins. I checked it before and is a very mild vibration with acceleration in 4wd. Same before and after the level. Nothing that really bothers me while driving.

I have them on all 4 corner's. The front's are adjusted to max 2.8" and I have no issues. They really make the nose sit up for a more aggressive look. I plan on adding a suspension lift in the near future so I just wanted the shocks to help level her out. I have pictures on my profile with them.

Only on for 10 miles but 2.8" max and no issues on test drive. Drives great too even though no alignment yet. Going tomorrow after I redo the whole thing. Pretty sure I messed up the install. Directions say washer, then stock stuff (dust boot, strut mount), then new hex nut. I did dust boot, strut mount, washer, hex nut. If not corrected I believe the piston shaft will work its way up through the dust boot and strut mount and then ill be driving on all spring and no shock. So as for issues read the directions and not go on what you've done in the past with other cars (normally a damn washer under a nut!).

Front before 37", after 39.875". Rear 39.75". Perfectly level but might add a 0.75" rear spacer for a little rake and more lift.

I know I don't have bilsteins but its the same premise. I have a 2.5" spaces up front and was doing 70 in 4x4 out west when a blizzard hit. I like auto 4x4 but then once it senses I've lost it I figured it'd be too late. So ran I'm 4x4 all the time. No vibrations at all.

I just had the 5100's put on my 2012 ram 1500 I set it at 2.1 man what a difference its stance is much more beefy. I spoke with a bilstein employee and basically said 2.1 is a safe setting for dodge rams however 2.8 setting is ok also I guess I would just use a little more caution that's all. if installed right you shouldn't have to touch any front end stuff therefore front alignment may not be needed but certainly cant hurt to get her aligned when done to play it safe.

my question I had for bistein was now that I have leveled my front end 2.1 inches when I put a heavy load in the bed my back end is going to sag which is fine but that intern is going to pull the front nose even higher, that's where my question hits will that cause problems. bilsteins answer was no it should not cause any issue it will raise alittle more in the front but its just your truck body. they also said if I wanted to add air bags underneath my rear springs that would help reduce the sag with heavy loads hmm. any thoughts??
