I have a 1000 lbs truck camper in the back of a 2015 RAM 1500. I would like to upgrade the stock rear suspension to get rid of the sag and porpoising on the highway. I think I will opt for the TufTruck TTC-1223 (non V or VT) and Bilstein B8 5100 shocks (part # 24-187374). Could I please have some help with the following:
1. Will the 1223 springs be compatible with these Bilstein shocks or will the shocks will be over-extended when the truck is empty?
2. How poor will the ride-quality be with the TTC-1223 springs when the bed is empty? This is rare but does happen occasionally.
3. Has anyone installed the 1223's, regretted it when driving with an empty bed, then swapped them out for the 1211's? I'm trying to avoid the variable springs (V and VT) due to slightly mixed reviews on durability, however I am happy to be convinced otherwise.
