2019 1500 Classic Big Horn:
All of a sudden my fan blower stopped. Was in heat mode set quite high & the fan going at high speed. I pulled the fuse (#F13) and it tested good so I put it back in. Fan starts working. Fuse was not loose at all, I needed pliers to pull it. Is there anything like an overheat relay that could be kicking out & resetting when it cools?

Bad blower speed relay maybe?

I’ve heard of a few issues with the TIPM (fuse box) wiring in the engine bay. I would start with the relay and if that doesn’t work check the power supply wire. I know on the 4th gen’s, the blower motor power supply wire goes directly from the relay to the blower motor, I would assume that it’s the same on the classics but don’t quote me on that. Hope this helps.

My blower went out a few years ago. I ordered both the blower motor and the resistor. Rolled the dice and installed the blower motor and it started working again. And then a few months ago the blower stopped again. Replaced it with a new motor, didn't fix it. Replaced the resistor, didn't fix it. Took it to the dealership. Apparently there were some loose wires/bad connections in the engine bay. The heated seats and heated steering wheel were also affected at the same time the blower motor stopped working.

Do you have any pictures of the loose wires/bad connections? Or at least what the dealership fixed?

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, or even ask any further details about it. You know when you're standing in line to pay for something and it seems like every person ahead of you decides at that exact moment to have a lengthy conversation with the cashier when it's their turn to pay and all you want to do is pay for your crap and get on with your life? That's the most accurate way I can describe where my brain was at that day, and why didn't ask any further questions about it. The service advisor made it sound like there was one or two main wiring harnesses attached to the firewall, the bad part is that you have about 28 other ones to choose from. And honestly, it didn't really make complete sense to me, but everything works. He could've told me the reason my blower fan wasn't working was because the motherboard on the driver's side of the windshield wiper motor needed a software update, and in this day and age where nothing is surprising anymore, that would've made just as much sense!
