Purchased a Borla S Type cat back system for my 2012 Ram 1500 crew Laramie, price was cheaper than getting direct from Borla. Communication was concise, clear and consistent. Package arrived in a timely manner, in good condition.
Install was incredibly easy, I knocked it out in about 2 hours by myself on the floor of my garage.
Product itself is very sturdy, appears to be excellent quality, fitment was spot on with zero modification needed to any parts.
Sound is exactly what I was looking for. Noticeable difference from OEM, taking that 2-3k rpm sweet spot that the Hemis have in 3rd and 4th gear and expanded that to roughly 1750-3750rpm in all gears with a much deeper tone and louder than stock but far from obnoxious. There is no drone at any speed/RPM and is very well mannered when driven modestly. I wanted it to be noticeable, but not wake up the city when I get fire calls at 2am.
Performance, I'm sure probably added something, but nothing notable, and my butt dyno isn't accurate enough to put any numbers out.
Overall I give the kit itself a solid 8.5/10. It was a little on the pricy side, and it didn't come with a mid pipe from the cat outlet to muffler so if you cut your current exhaust off, be sure not to cut that mid pipe if you aren't intending to replace it.
