Bought my first RAM truck

hello folks. As a previous gmc owner I can say I’m new to dodge. I bought a 2017 Sierra and had problems from day one. Leaking oil pan, leaking rear main seal, faulty exhaust valve for the afm and the transmission shifted hard downshifting from 3-2. And this is all within 9 months, dealership wasn’t doing much but it was covered under warranty. So I decided to trade it in for a 2019 sport patriot blue pics of what I had to what I have now. I’ll have lots of questions as I know little about dodge

Nice truck. First time Ram owner also, after 20 years in one Ford F-250. Love the truck and would bet you will too. Neither the 19 Chevy/GMC or Fords could compare to this truck imo. Enjoy it.

Welcome,Long time Ford owner but this is my second Ram.I considered getting a Sierra until I test drove one,it didn’t excite me one bit.My neighbor has a 2017 Silverado and it was in the shop at least three times after he bought it.The test drive of the 2019 Ram snagged a sale from Ford as well.You picked a great color,That was my second choice after black.

Love the color and sport package! I made the GMC to RAM switch myself. Happy I did so far. Transmission was my only concern with my GMC otherwise it was a very good truck. I miss the 6.2 sometimes, but the transmission in my RAM more than makes up for it.

Welcome, first time Ram owner also. Traded my 2018 Chevrolet 2500HD with the Duramax. The computer on it scrambled and I had to limp home, dealership reprogrammed it. I thought no big deal as computers do that sometimes. Then after sitting 3 days, went to go to work and the battery was dead, dealership could not find any problems, recharged my battery and I drove it home. Drove find for few days and then it had to sit for 3 days and yes, dead battery again. Three strikes and it was out. Loved that truck but could not rely on it so traded it for my Ram 1500 Limited. I can honestly say that I prefer driving my Ram over the Chevy and since I do not tow anything extremely heavy, I really do not need the diesel.

Welcome, first RAM after 25 years of Chevy PUs. Laramie crew cab, best riding truck. Use the rear seat platforms most of time, great for Walmart trips. Pull 8x18 enclosed trailer with atvs.
