I have been searching online for hours now trying to find a set of steel braided brake hoses for a 2wd 2nd gen Ram. I found the Russell hoses for the 4wd but nothing for a 2wd. Will the 4wd hoses work? Is there another option out there I am missing?

The 4wd drive hoses will work but will be longer. Try inline tube for hoses.

The threads are the same as the brake systems are for the most part the same. You'll just have to make sure you properly secure the hose because as Jibayes said, its longer. But it will work.

You can also have Crown Performance make you up a set.

I had the Russell’s on my ‘99 and they were DOT & well made.
