Flashed or flushed? I would flush it out at 100K miles or if I had to replace a brake hose or a line or something. I would check the service manual on that one to be sure.

You know I thought he said flashed when I talked to him in the phone but maybe he said flushed. I only have 50000 miles. The invoice says flsh brake system so they took out the one letter that would have answered this for me haha.

It’s flushed. But I would wait and see. You should check to see the color of the fluid. If it looks dirty than have it cleaned. If it is the color that they put in at the factory then leave it. I am not sure if it is clear or purple.

Bake fluid is hygrosopic even if it's not dirty it's best to flush at recommended interval. I usually do it at first pad change. Its a small cost if you plan to keep the car for a while. Water vapor mixed with hydraulic fluid makes the brakes spongy. When heated the water turns to vapor and can Form tiny bubbles reducing the mechanical fluid force.

Just to answer brake fluid color, on MY 19 the fluid is clear/maybe a tinge of yellow but that may be the reservoir...just IMHO

Added: Definitely flush, not flash. hee hee
