Since guys are constantly commenting on here looking for "cheaper" nerf bars, here's a set to consider. https://www.ebay.com/itm/282605088613?ul_noapp=true After the level my parents have a hard time getting in the truck and that wont due, but I also didn't want to drop $3-$500 for a set.

The hardware was of high quality and all there, the brackets looked well made and heavily powdercoated, everything lined up perfectly and were installed in 30ish mins. With them mounted they are nice and solid with my 260lbs standing on them. All in all can't complain for $160.

My wife and I felt that was a decent price for the width and wheel to wheel .
My opinion.

I bought these 5" oval chrome steps from Amazon back in mid-Dec 2017 for $182.49. They also come in black. You can get either straight ends or curved ends. Absolutely no problems so far; they still look new six months later. I'm 240 lbs and they are rock solid under my weight.

View attachment 129329 Tyger bars...Amazon $179. Very impressed for budget friendly. I’m 280lbs. Heavy duty bracketry, high grade bolts, nice finish.
I bought the same ones. I usually buy the OEM bars, but for the price and all the good reviews of these I tried them. Good quality, good looking and they don't sit too far out like some cheaper models but yet don't sit too far tucked into the body of the truck either.

Where do all of these attach? I think I want some that attach to the frame, not the cab. I just think that if attached to the cab, there could be problems down the road a ways with sagging, cab rusting and causing the boards to not hold the weight, etc. Opinions?

big difference between $290 and $160
$290 or $160 not bad. Those black ones "Thunder" look good. Now I went the stupid expensive route and had OEM put on my ride, but that is me. Over $600.00, LOL. I really wanted the power amp, but no way was gonna shell out the money needed plus labor and install.
