I have seen this has been discused before but my situation is slightly different.
Just bought this 2017 Ram 1500 Lone Star edition, 5.7 hemi RWD. Parking light out would come on the dash every time you hit the brakes with the light switch in the on or auto position, but not in the off position. I replaced a corroded bulb and realized that the bulb socket on the driver side had been replaced. The previous owner had cut the pig tail out on the driver side and hard wired a new aftermarket bulb socket (and did a really poor job). I have re wired a new OEM pigtail on the driver side as well as a new bulb plus socket on both sides. I manged to get rid of the "Parking light out" message on the dash but now the traction and ABS light have come on. I cant seem to get any codes off it (might be my cheap scan tool) and im not sure what to do. I know that the wheel speed sensor shares a ground with the tail light assembly but im not understanding where i went wrong. Any help is greatly appriciated. There are no LED lights anywhere in the truck. First time posting here.
