So, ive had a problem with bump steer ever since I got the truck a year ago. It never really bothered me until lately just because its getting annoying. Idk if its from my bigger tires or because of my lift but every time I hit some bumps in the road or anything like that my steering will freak out for a split second. When I was ordering my lift I went ahead a ordered a steering stabilizer as well hoping it would fix the issue. It made the steering tighter but that's about it. I need an alignment soon so idk if that will fix it but I just wanted your guys' opinions about how to fix it or what can be done. Thanks!

Is it bump steer or deathwobble? Like can you actually control it or does it shake the entire truck?

Bump steer will pretty much drag the front of the truck toward the bump or hole in the road, whereas DW will completely upset the front axle and make the truck shake to the point where it's almost uncontrollable.

No no its not death wobble. I have control it kinda just pulls the steering wheel a little but it doesn't shake the truck at all. The driver is the only one who notices it.

Same as what I have....and I have bump steer too. lol Check the caster angle. Apparently the angle needs to be changed when the tire size goes up, I've been told. :D

Ok that's what I thought but I wasn't sure. Is there any easy way to check and see if its off and if so is there an easy way to fix it?

Pretty much. Though being up north you might not be able to get them to do anything due to the cam bolts being rusted.
