With the running boards on their way, i now have the fender flares shipping in this week too.
I went with the OE style that covers down onto the color matched sport bumper.
Also, got a rebate form for $50 on the flares from Bushwacker, so this will be a much better end price than i was expecting. Most placed i'd seen them for around $450 for the full set, but once the rebate process i'll be in under $360.
Before and after pics to follow once it's all installed.

Flares are on. Simple job but some of the plastic retaining clips on the sport bumper and spats were a pain in the ass. Also, the rubber gasket install sucks just as much as every has said. Before and after pictures next week when I fire up the laptop.

Here it is with the flares on, i think they add bit of contrast to set it apart from the sea of sameness. More to come.

Very clean man , I do like that they incorporate the flare onto the front bumper , not a 3/4 piece like the pocket flares

That was the kicker for me, it finished it out instead of ending and having the cut back in from the flare width to the bumper width. The plan for this truck isn't to throw massive tires on it. I think I would be happy with a set of matched 22" R/T replicas and a little beefier tire with a 5100 front level.

Well, needed to share this update. Was driving back home a few days after Christmas, and the weather was nasty. I was doing about 75 mph on a NC road into a super stiff headwind. starting hearing this flopping sound up front and through i had picked up a bag with the running boards. Pulled over and discovered that both lower front flares on the color matched bumper had pulled through their mounting hardware and were dangling from the bumper. one was even broken where it looks like it contacted the tire.
I emailed Lund with all the details and they had a new set of front flare on my doorstep within 5 days. i was amazed. Great customer service!
