Hi all. I'm looking for information on the camera wiring in my 2021 5500.
It's a Tradesman and I have a backup and rear view camera. I have 2 things I want to accomplish.
1. I need to relocate the rear view camera. I put a bed on that blocks the 3rd taillight assembly, so I need to move the camera to the bed.
2. I want to add a trailer camera connector.
I need to know where I can connect into the rear view camera circuit for a new camera on the bed's headboard. Hopefully somewhere under the dash.
Is there multiple inputs for the backup camera or do I need to add an A/B switch for using a camera on the back of the trailer.
One other thing, do they pre-wire even if they don't include camera features? Like the bed/load camera or surround cameras.
Thanks,
Joe
