camping set up with ram boxes

I searched but didn't come up with anything . Was elk hunting all last week and ended up sleeping in the truck. Does anyone have a tent or raised camp solution with PW and ram boxes

Don't know what PW is, but this has worked great for me.
EZ-Lift Tent. Extends out with tail gate down for more room.
You could probably still access your ram box. I don't have them.

I’ve been looking into that too, found this rack that is compatible with ram boxes.

Thinking that and a rooftop tent would be pretty cool.

I have the frontrunner rack. I don't know what the max capacity would be with the mounting arms that frontrunner provides for the ram box beds, but the rack itself is designed to hold up to 660#'s. I guess the weight would be limited by the inner rail that it mounts on...

Dethloff mfg makes a rack for the rambox..... it’s pricey but supposed to be top notch. lol

I'll second dethloff. I have their skid plate waiting to be installed, and the quality is top notch. Their contour rack is the best looking one I have seen for our trucks

I like the trailer idea but I don't have anywhere to store it , I like the idea of a rack in the back

Go to Amazon and type in "Pickup Truck Bed Tent". There should be many to choose from. Couple hundred bucks and you'd be good to go.

Many of those tents are universal....just make sure it's for your bed size. Also may have to buy a matress. The Rambox is 4 feet wide for reference.

Not the absolute best but very cheap compared to a small trailer. Tailgate down with a zip up enclosure. You're off the ground too.

A rack and roof top tent will run $4000 or so total. This combo (tent/mattress) could be done for $250 low and $500 combined for a nice set.

You'll lose some storage by using the truck bed as your bed would alleviate alot of problems and be much cheaper than a trailer.

I had considered this but decided I'm going to buy a square drop or other small camping trailer next year.

I forgot to add...if you have a tonneau cover have it rolled up or a tri-fold...make sure it's folded up by the back window. Should still have room. Just a thought. If you have a hard cover...this may not work.

As far as the mattress goes do NOT order a pickup bed mattress that has the area for the wheel wells as the Rambox doesn't have those. Here is one that is 47" inches wide that would probably fit perfectly:
