Has anyone else experienced an issue where their Ram comes out of gear when coming to a complete stop or slowing down for a rolling turn? For 2 years now, I have experienced this issue where my truck comes out of drive, the "D" light in the gear knob cluster blinks and the center display behind the steering wheel tells me to shift into Park and then back into gear. The first time this happened, I almost got T-Boned and was smart enough to quickly shift into neutral and then into drive. The condition throws no codes so the two dealerships I brought my truck to have nothing to search for and like always, they are never able to reproduce the issue. So far, they have changed the transmission twice, the gear cluster once and allegedly performed numerous SW updates. Ram customer care has done nothing but start a case and then close the case if the service department cannot recreate the issue. Luckily, I have taken random videos of when this occurs over the last 2 years as backup. I have shared these videos with the 2 different service departments that had my truck for extended periods of time to see if they can get this raised up the food chain. You would think a safety risk like this would get a regional service manager or even a vehicle specialists involved. My next step is contacting the NTSB unless Stellantis, Mopar, FCA, RAM...whatever you want to call them gets their act together. In my last visit to the local Ram dealer service department, I left my truck with them for almost 4 weeks. They said they drove it randomly and could not recreate the issue. The following morning after picking it back up and every day since, my truck has come out of gear when coming to a full stop. This is my 3rd Ram and will probably be my last. It's a shame......
