Can a 4th gen cap fit on a 5 gen bed

I know this is the 4th gen room but does anyone know

I have a 1500 18 Laramie hemi CC with 6.4 bed and I want to upgrade to a 20 or 19 5th gen 2500

I know my 18 leer cap will fit on a 18 1500 or 2500 even a 3500
But will it fit on the new body style bed

If you are really looking to upgrade, throw it on a truck at the dealer.

I dont know if you ever deal with removing your canopy but I have a wood frame for storage of mine and its an easy 1 man job, have the dealer have 2 of their lot monkeys put one on a truck for you.

It wint fit 100%, that's for sure

Edit: I see you mean on a "new" 2500. The beds are the same IIRC, the tailgage might not match up 100%
