so from my build sheet i found out my used ram is built for our neighbors to the north (canada)

is this why when i went to my Local parts store, (in the US), the listed oil filter they have (all brands) didnt fit?

if so, are there any other part crossover discrepancies i should be aware of?

...also apparently the previous owner made off with my quad halogens and left me with duels :chair:

only differences i could find between US and Canada models was DRL and Uconnect.

the oil filter that fit my 2012 was only supposed to fit '13 to i think '17

its a K&N HP-1017 but every store/online catalog/forum says to use the HP-2010 but the seal extended out past the filter adapter to far.

either some mod was done or an engine swap idk. guess ill just get used to say 2013 at the part store

It's entirely possible it was a repo from western Canada when the price of oil crashed a few years ago. It was pretty hard on a lot of us here. I wouldn't read too much into that myself.

Repo'd isn't something I would worry too much about now if it had 2 accidents I would be worried. Like the post above couple years ago northern Alberta was hit hard.
