I have 2025 2500 heavy duty with the 115v 400 max outlet in cargo area. Headed elk hunting and have an older chest freezer I’d like to run to get my meat home. Freezer is 115 v 60hz but it’s too much for the truck. What can I do to make this work. Is there another inverter of something to plug in outlet to help or should I just run a small generator every now and then to keep freezer cold? Thanks for everyone’s help

You might mention how many watts you need to power your freezer and how long that would be needed. A gas operated generator would probably do it but you will have to add fuel as you go along. There are some good electric power packs that might recharge on your 400 outlet but it really depends on how large your freezer is and I imagine an elk takes up a LOT of space. Hunters do it so there must be a way. If you don't live too far from home.
