I have 3 or 4 Mobile CBs, those are the ones you will find in most 10 & 18 wheelers. I also have 4 or 5 Handheld CBs.
I used to rent them out to Truckers, Pilot Cars & Police, when they were working on a job that i was involved in.
Everyone had to have the means to communicate when working with Trucks with Oversized Loads.
Real Typical video of a OVERSIZED LOAD using CB Radios

Law Enforcement that were assigned to Traffic, also had them, now i see them mostly in the Sargents Vehicles.
The Police have mostly changed over to FM Radios, California Highway Patrol uses the Motorola FM Radios.
Even the Handheld Radio they use is a Motorola Brand.
Sooner or Later, all people that are involved in Emergencies, will use FM radios.
That way, all Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, FEMA, etc. will be able to communicate directly with each other
