changing engine an trans

Is there any thing to look out for in thing change. I have a 95 2500hd with the 360 an auto trans 4x4, going to take it an put it in a 97 1500 4x4. The 95 has 150k an the97 has 208k an no trans. Do i need to swap wireharness on the motors or any thing else?

The 95 is an OBD I set-up, the 97 is OBD II. You might be able to put the 95 motor into the 97 but there will be wiring differences.

Why on earth would u install an engine with 208k mi? And just swap the intake and sensors from your motor to the new one. I just put a 5.9 in mine lol.
