Engine Compatiablity

I am looking at getting an 1985 360, 4 Speed 4x4 truck. Engine is seized but I found another 1987 250 with the 360. I am wondering if these engines are the same. I am new to the dodge stuff just trying to figure out if it will work. And if they don't work if maybe I can find a 318 that will bolt straight in or will engine mounts require changing?

Those engines are pretty much a straight swap. Not sure if the 1987 is fuel injected or not but if it is, just swap the manifold and carb over from the 1985. Should otherwise be just a bolt in.

Direct swap. Roller cams didn't show up in LA360's til 1989.
