Changing uconnect 3 on a leased truck

I have a leased express with the uconnect 3.0 and I was wondering if it is possible to swap out the radio for a aftermarket with NAV and front cam and then return it at the end of the lease. I have read that a support must be removed from the truck to make the installation happen but does it need to be cut out or unbolted?

anyone have experience with this, looks interesting but I wonder if I will lose the usb and aux input.

you'll loose the armrest USB anyways with aftermarket radio.

The stock radio goes right back in no problem even after you cut the cross member. Cut it out and put in what ever radio you want.
