Cheap LED light bars.?

I had a riorand 42" curved bar mounted on top of the bumper and switched to a 42" 5d auxbeam bar and it was a huge improvement! I then added a 32" auxbeam bar between the tow hooks. It was a straight bar with 5w chips instead of 3w and had 8° spot optics instead of 30° that the 5d bar has. Huge distance gain by adding that bar.

Those bars ended up with the lens yellowing so I built a bar to hold round driving lights and installed 4 4.7" 25w vision x light cannon knock-offs from JGL. These 4 lights outshine both auxbeam bars combined by almost twice as much for distance. I paid $42 a pair plus shipping. Any chance you have pics at night from inside the cab as to how those lights throw the light? I’m thinking I wanna do the same.

I don't, but I can get some this weekend for you if it stops snowing. What would you like to see or compared to? Only the 4 round lights on? Low beams or high beams with/vs just those 4 lights? Combination of both?

So, I did the best I could for the time being. It was -24° outside so I didn't go under and unplug my flood flushmounts. They really only shine about 80 ish feet so any other flood or spill lighting is coming from these light cannons. But whenever the cannon or cannons are on, so are the 4 flushmount flood lights. I can go back when it's warmer out and unplug them if you want.

The stop sign is roughly 1000' away or just under and the tree line past the stop sign and the adjacent road at the end of the photos is just shy of 1300'. We could call it 1250' even. The high beams reflect off the stop sign but in person do not light up anywhere near it. I would say these GTR lighting led high beams light up to about 500' or 550'. It was a huge gain in distance over the stock halogens. The led low beams have a better cut off than the factory ones with less spill light above the cutoff line as well. I aimed them with my trailer on so as to not blind any on coming traffic.

The light cannons isolux plot rates 1 cannon to produce 1 lux (usable light) at 1002'. I find that there is usable light well past 1300' with just 1 light on so I completely believe their claim. A pair of them definitely add a lot more light than 1 of them and 4 of them add a considerable amount more than 2. The pictures make it seem as though not much light is added between 2 and 4 lights as it got washed out which you can kind of see by how bright the house lights are off to the right. I covered the light cannons with black rags to show 1 vs 2 vs 4 lights on. All I have is my galaxy s10 plus to take pictures with.

The camera doesnt do these lights justice but should give you an idea. They are definitely a bit brighter in person. The 10° spot pattern is perfect for me as it isn't so tight of a spot that it looks like you're driving through a tunnel but it still gives more distance than you need driving 90-100 km/h down back roads at night. You can also buy similar lights on ebay although I'm not sure of the quality. They're 25w 4.7" led offroad cannons.
