First a brief recap:
I purchased a 2011 1500 from local dealer, (silver quad cab).
Truck had factory paint defects on 1/3 of the body panels.
Chrysler refused to repaint entire truck after a lengthy battle with their warranty department. My chrysler complaint representative gave me a booby prize of 8 free oil changes.
A chrysler body shop attempted partial repaint. After 4 visits and 21 working days the body shop and service department refused service to me saying my expectations were too high, and that they never said the paint would be as good as factory original. (their exact words) The truck had overspray covering the entire truck, marring on the paint, micro scratches, melted interior door panel, a scratched and gouged mirror, and buffing compound everywhere.
I took my compliant to the top of the dealership, they stood behind there people saying I did some of the damage to the truck intentionally. (wrong)
The dealership, bodyshop, and my chrysler rep would no longer speak to me.
I filed a BBB complaint, ending in a negative mark against the dealership for not negotiating a agreed upon settlement.
I then filed a warranty resolution suit with a firm I found online, who specialized in lemon law cases. The kind that only gets paid if you get paid.
After almost a YEAR chrysler has settled, agreeing to pay the entire estimate, plus lawyer fees.
So thank you chryser you saved a customer, but it didn't have to be this difficult.
As far as the 2 dealerships in Colorado Springs, I wouldn't recommend a ford owner to visit them. Sorry Dave.
