So for a while my when I start my truck, I get a message that says, "Perform Service". I went to the dealer and asked a service tech and he said it meant the crankcase filter needed changing. Cool, I got a new one and changed it out. After a week with the new filter the system hasn't cleared the message. I put my scan tool on and it doesn't see anything. Even looked with my AlfaOBD and it showed nothing to clear. I'm tired of seeing this message. Any thoughts on how to clear it?

It may go something like this. Google vid file link attached. There may be a different combination of peddle moves and strokes to do depending on model year and model type (ie: diesel of gas power etc). This info might also be found in the vehicle manual perhaps? One site reminded that you may need to do the procedure more then once if you do not get a reset. Here's a link to that "answer" chat: I've not had to do this myself as yet. My truck is under warrenty so oil changes and such have been done at the dealer to this point.
