So in the front left side of my truck ive got a pretty loud clicking noise and dont know whats wrong. It isnt that noticeable upon start up but when accelerating it gets louder and faster, but isnt there when i let off the gas. Anybody have any idea what this could be or whats causing it? Im getting it looked at tomorrow but figured id see if any one here had any idea what was going on. Thanks any help is appreciated.

im thinking(hoping) that the front left wheel could be out of balance, cause ive notice the truck is pulling to the right a lot more than it used to.

Well it sounds more like something hitting something not much like a sputtering from the engine but more of a clicking or tapping noise

a wheel out of balance wouldn't really cause the truck to pull one way or the other - that is usually alignment.

well now i feel like it has someting to do with a leak in the exhaust or something cause looking under the hood and reving a little the smell of exhaust is very strong and it sounds more like it
