Hey guys, I’ve got a 2010 1500 4x4. Unfortunately just recently I’ve noticed a subtle however getting louder metal grinding/dragging noise. It only happens in drive and when accelerating. The odd part is if I am driving and hear the sound, shift the truck into neutral the sound instantly goes away and comes back when I shift back into drive and accelerate. If I’m in drive and let off of the gas the sound will go away. I have a video but it’s hard to hear the exact sound since the truck doesn’t have a muffler, I’m sorry about that lol. The sound gets most noticeable at 22 seconds until the end. It sounds like either transmission or front driveshaft?? It’s sounds like it’s coming from exactly where I’m recording, at the front driveshaft or transmission. The transmission fluid is pink, smells good and has always been at full level. Any help or thoughts is appreciated thanks in advance guys!
