Clunking felt

I have a 2007 Ram 4x4 5.9 I've replaced the entire front end and still have this Annoying Knocking I can feel in the steering wheel but mainly in the gas pedal. It is not a Clicking. I have replaced the Clock Spring and eliminated that Irritation! Plus the steering wants to Float at times. My mechanic says I'm nuts. I know my truck. Somethings not right. Anyone know what this is? Thanks

sounds like you have more than 1 thing going on....so which one is it clunking, knocking but def not clicking. Please give us some more info. Is it making the noise at full left lock(right) in transition to the left or right? is the clunk coming from the rear? cause that could not be steering? I indicated you are feeling it in the gas pedal? Are you feeling it at all in the steering wheel?

I think a little more description and info we might be able to help narrow down your problem.
