Hello I have a 2012 ram 1500 QC 4x4 and I have had the leveling springs on for about 3 months now and recently a clunking noise is felt and heard through the cab during breaking and sometimes acceleration. I can reproduce the noise if I place the tailgate done and bounce the truck. The spare tire seems secure. I think the leveling springs are loose. Is this a prob with any one else's springs?

The springs can't be loose if the weight of the truck is on them.
Check that they're in the spring perches right and check the shock bolts.

I will double check that the springs are seated correctly. I will also check the shock bolts. Could it be I am using the original shocks?

I just went out driving and the noise also happens when I don't feel like I am bouncing. It's so weird and bugging me

Yes I did sorry for the huge delay in response. Somehow the driver side coil became unseated and all I had to do was give it about a quarter turn once on a lift.
