What are some of the ways you keep your RAM clutter free?

I hate clutter with a passion, both in my vehicles and house! My wife, on the other hand...

Always put things back when you're done with them. Throw away any trash the first chance you get. Keeping something clean is easier than letting it go and starting from scratch. Lastly, watching occasional episodes of Hoarders will reinforce your resolve.

I will use a Fire Hose on my Apartment & the Ram
The Harley just needs dusting off & some Gas

I bought two big plastic totes for the bed of the truck
1-golf stuff
2-Ram stuff
3-when getting gas, toss anything not needed.

Keep the truck clutter free

Having a touch of OCD helps...I wouldn't wish it on anyone but it does help me keep my truck clutter free.

Ram boxes plus fold-down back seat mod.
I’ve got all my recovery gear in passenger ram box:
Kinetic rope, 2 soft shackles, jump start pack, 12v air compressor, jumper cables, tow hitches.

Other ram box is the catch-all: shopping bags, sun shield, spare oil, oil filter, CamGuard (I travel a lot so just have my favorite with me is nice),

Behind the seat I have sawed-off broom, some boxed tools.

Back seat floor compartment I have medical kit.

Under-seat compartment I have oil-change quick connect, spark plug socket, warm shirt.

Seats: clear. Floor: clear.

I don’t think I’ll ever own another truck without ram boxes or equivalent.

To cold for pictures, Clutter , I don't have that , I have stuff where I can put my hand on it when I need it sometime. I do keep the kitchen nice,
Yrs ago when I was away for a couple days, She cleaned the shop for me.
Took months to find stuff.

I don't let my wife drive it

I have to do more than that. I can't let her get into the truck at all. Not as a driver or a passenger.

All the tools I need are in storage area under the rear seat on my club cab, snow brush is behind the rear seats .
Papers and such in the center console
Jump box is under my seat ,
I don’t mess with jumper cables any more
Nothing out of place .

My pickup gets used for hunting, fishing and long distance travel in inclement weather. Generally there are two, fairly often, three in it. Maybe once or twice a year 4.

Every nook and cranny has stuff in it. From the centre console storage bins to behind the rear seats, to the in-floor boxes to under the front and rear seats, door side pockets, all storage is used. The drivers side rear seat area has the seat up, and has a sleeping bag, heavy boots, heavy coat etc in that space on floor and seat base. This stuff has to be moved to use the 4th seat. Passenger side rear/centre seat is down, floor space is clear for ease of access by third passenger.

Tool box, shovel, chains etc are in the box of the ruck, in containers secured in place, that leave 95% of the box free. I want all of the stuff I might ever need for any situation, in the pickup when I need it. None of it comes out of the pickup, except to clean inside. I do not consider this clutter, there is zero garbage or non-useful stuff in there.

How does one do the fold down back seat mod? I have been trying to fold it down for a year.

Instructions pinned in the DIY forum “index”.
But, basically, you loosen the rear seats so they fold down once, when it is folded you cut off the portion of the metal rear seat hooks below the plastic bushings/guides. Reinstall the seat. Now the seat back will be locked back in the fully up and fully down seat position but will fold when the seat is 1/2-up.

If you drive with your seat in the UP position a lot…. Mine developed a rattle where the metal hits the retainer. Might happen on your’s, might not. Might drive you nuts, might not.

In the newer 1500s the center console was apparently designed by a caveman. He mustof liked caves. The center is basically a deep hole to nowhere. Put something there, it's lost forever!

So a quick mod, becomes a desktop or tabletop. Easily removed. 3/4" board and a little stain.
