I have a 2013 2500 cummins. I would like to wire the cig lighter to he left of the ash tray/storage compartment for constant power. I can get to the 2 wires leading to the lighter from unde the dash. Can anyone recommend the nearest power source? I'm coming for a Chevy and they usually have a fuse panel above the e brake pedal but don't see anything here in the Dodge. Is there anything hot in the area I can tap into? I will obviously fuse this connection.

The plug on the right side is usually always hot
You could tap into that but you would only be able to pull 15 amps between the two
The fuse box is under the hood on the drivers side in Rams
