Could I switch my suspension to a 2500 2wd suspension?

I found a good starter lift, but it says it fits a 2500.

I know on the Gen2's the 2500 springs fit on the 1500's and give you about 2" of lift. I don't know about the Gen3's though

You have an independent front suspension, and the 2500's have a solid front axle. This would be a very expensive and very complicated swap.

It would be easier and less expensive to just go with a 1500 kit

Six inch 2wd kit is 900 dollars brand new. I'd go that route.
