I still haven't heard from Ram or the dealer. When I call all Ram and the dealer "my case is being evaluated by a case manager and they will contact me soon".

BigA, so this has been a random issue for a while I'm guessing? Most people seem to say that their bed floor has small gaps not including the 3 drainage spots. I wonder what is happening in the manufacturing of the beds to cause this? I can't help but wonder if the bed strength is still capeable of it's load rating.

I wouldn't think that the bed load rating would be affected. The main load direction wouldn't be lateral but vertical. Also, the lateral stresses of the bed sides, for straps, etc, "should" be taken up by the front of the bed and tailgate rather than a weld (or not in your case, lol) along the floor.

This is what mine looks like underneath. Everything is tight and spot welded. I assume this is where yours is separated.

Yes even under that strap at the front, the pannels are not lined up correctly and there is a gap. All the welds seem to be intact. The gap starts there and goes back towards the bed 18 inches On the drivers . The passenger side crack is only about 5 inches and not as wide. The body shop said they would pull the bed, cut all the spot welds, separate the bed sides and start over aligning the panels, reweld and paint where needed.
