When I looked for my '14, I couldn't find anything else comparable. So I ordered one thru a local u-haul. Took a few days to come in.

I ask because I thought the Curt 55384 was not compatible with the 2015 Ram?
I just want to be able to to connect an LED light bar using the flat 4 connector and not splice my existing wires.

Not compatible, or not listed as being compatible? Two different things. Lots of manufacturers haven't even updated their product pages past 2012 or 2013 for stuff that worked just fine on my '14 and has been reported to work fine on '15s.

I don't have my '16 yet so I can't check, but I'm willing to bet it's probably the same 7-pin (8-pin?) round connector under there, and that deal will still fit.

Now, whether they've done some stupid electronic crap that would make it stop working? I'd offer even odds on that one.

why not splice? a good solder joint and some heat shrink will preform just as good as one of those. you dont need to cut the existing harness just tap into it.

Trailer wiring is compatible across all brands so it should fit fine

Because you can unplug from the main harness from the bumper plug in the back of the bumper and plug this in without cutting, splicing or opening any part of the factory harness up to outside elements. I felt more comfortable splicing into the spare harness when I added my Dads reverse lights too

Has anyone used or have the C55384?

I had it on my '14. Worked like a charm. Can't vouch for anything newer, but as one person said, trailer wiring is pretty universal. No reason to believe it wouldn't work.

Thanks, Im gonna order it. If my father was around then Id ask him to assist with the wiring, as this was his field of work. But Im totally ***** and have a general Edward Scissor hand approach to cutting and splicing wires, so would rather just buy a harness to accommodate the LED light bar. As opposed to the other easy way of plugging it like a muppet in the back bumper factory connector which looked really stupid .
