Why?!So Cooper advised me not to run this tire on the street.
I sit here and wait on PriorityTire to see what they want to do about it.

Oy. They sold you stickies! Wtf.
I mean, possibly. At the price you got them you can def unload them at a low price and not lose your tail. BUT, unless appropriately advertised on the website I'd be all over PT to issue a refund first.Wonder if there's a market for them...
Everything is the same but speed rating.
Yes. They advised me not to run them on the street even though they are DOT approved.i wonder if they have different bench marks for higher speeds in EU? have you messaged cooper directly to see what they say?

Radio silence since then. And just for the sake of full transparency, PT is being responsive to the issue. Their CS rep called me back after leaving my number in their call que. They are checking with next level to see if they can refund me the mounted tire as well. It is not their policy, but, in this case they're going to check.

So they haven't assisted you further?Radio silence since then.
Not yet. Waiting to hear.So they haven't assisted you further?
The absolute worst feeling. Especially since you have them and can't use them. Not yet. Waiting to hear.
We'll see. It'll be a fight I'm sure. they'll want me to pay for return shipping, I'll fight that since they sent the wrong tires. It'll go back and forth. And ultimately, they'll either pay to have them shipped back and refund my money or I'll file a claim with Visa. The absolute worst feeling. Especially since you have them and can't use them.
i really hope for your sake they take care of it but I suspect you might not be wrong. I've never dealt with PT or a situation like this so I couldn't even speculate beyond "what ifs". Idk what's an appropriate time frame for a reply but i'd reach out again and see if you have any luck. Otherwise I'd be starting that claim with visa not long after. We'll see. My only real issue is not knowing which way this is going is preventing me from moving on another set of tires. If i knew it was going to be a fight from Visa, I'd just order the next set and deal with it. It's just too soon to go that route (claim).
In the mean time I'll get my Buyers Products 8895301 listed that I missed the return window on and take a beating on that too.
