I had originally assumed Utility pole so was expecting to see a totaled truck. Usually when people hit those it is at 60mph and destroys both their truck and pole.

I'm not doing to say I'm glad to see it's just a small dent because no dent is a good thing. However, it is a hell of a lot better then what I first expected.

Sucks to see any ram dented like that, a new one is worse.

Sorry about your luck.

Ouch, I really feel for ya! When my G8 was pretty new, I pulled into a parking spot and didn't realize the parking blocks were held in place with rebar which happened to be sticking out of the hole 2 inches. My car will just clear a parking block so you can imagine what happened. :emotions122:

My eye is drawn to the huge dent, but then drawn away to your brown tires... Do you by chance use a silicon based tire treatment? Sorry, it's the detailer in me... :Stupid Me:

Ouch! I know what that's like. I had my truck for like 2 weeks, and I had it at work. I backed into the shop to hook up a mobile welder trailer I just fabricated, and as I was coming out I ran over a curled (hopper cone plate) sheet of 3/16" steel, with a sharp corner on it. Tore open my rocker panel about 12 inches. The auto-body shop wanted like 1200 bucks to fix it, so I took it back to the shop and welded it up myself lol. But yours looks like that would be a difficult fix without proper tools... sorry dude!!

Also, my 16 year old step brother did this to my mom's Jeep Patriot the other day. Said he was turning a corner, and hit a fire hydrant. Yeah Right. (Drifting perhaps?) :drunk:

That's what I said. I'm thinking they either damn near rolled the thing and it settled back out again, or they hit something else... (another car perhaps??).

Unless of course they hit it hard enough that it pressed the panel in so much that it wrecked the glass.

Use non silicon containing products! There are several out there, but the one I've stuck with is Adams SVRT. It won't give you a SUPER glass like shine, but it also won't turn your tires brown.

My suggestion is scrub the tires with Adams All Purpose Cleaner which will make the tires black again, and then apply Adams SVRT. With its SPF 35 it'll protect the rubber from the sun as well. SVRT can be used on anything vinyl, rubber, or plastic. Great stuff and smells good too!
