DEF gauge not working

2014 Eco Diesel, 85,000 miles. DEF cauge sends message that in 300 miles truck will not start. I have filled my DEF to full capacity. My question is even though my DEF tank is full, will my truck still mot start?

It is not an uncommon problem, it can be quite expensive if out of warranty.

A series of warning lights that come on to remind you that the truck won't start if the DEF reaches zero. That should be enough to get even the biggest procrastinator to the dealer on time.

Which is fine if you are still in warrenty and don't need your truck for a few days
