Is there a diagram/pinout for the connector found under the hood in front of the fuse box?

This is the connector I'm talking about:

I'm trying to find a fused "hot on run" wire that I can splice into.

Alternately, I'm considering tapping into fuse M7 (2nd power connector) *if* I can find a fuse splice here in Strathmore or Calgary.

I'd prefer a solid splice instead of the fuse splice though.

your in the engine area why not just go directly to the batter and put in your own fuse holder?

these trucks (and new cars) are too sensitive to just "tap" into circuits and can cause issues

I looking for a "hot on run" lead, so directly to the battery won't work.

I'm hoping to find a wire feeding an unimportant circuit, such as a cigarette lighter.

I was able to find a fuse splicer, so I'll probably just tap into the secondary cigarette lighter fuse.

in that case use a relay and only use the cig lighter as trigger to turn on the relay so that way you are not putting any load on the vehicle circuit

I'm only running 10 LEDs on the extra circuit, so I don't think a relay is necessary.

I've got a dash cam and radar detector tied into my center console cig lighter. Yeah, I wouldn't tap into my parking lights to put neon underbody lights on my truck, but you should be fine with LEDS (assuming you aren't trying to run a Rigid lightbar from your lighter outlet)
