A few days ago i decided to replace the speaker on my drivers side rear door (quad cab) because it sounded like it was blown. Turns out that the bass was causing the door panel to literally vibrate, tried tightening down the door screws only to realize that they’re not screws at all and just little clips. Sigh. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes they are all plastic torx screws.

Pull door panel back off, put some sound deadening on the inner door, will fix it.

Yeah, and i’m debating on how to fix the horrible blown speaker sound. Hot glue? Tape? idk.

Like the Goose said, put in some sound deadening material will take most away. I put in strips and paid special attention to places we’re all those plastic welds are. If you take the panel off lay it something that won’t scratch it and tap on the panel with your finger or a screwdriver you will track down the rattles easily. Adding sheets of deadening will add weight and get expensive quickly, better use strips.
