I forgot, I do believe I was given like this. Had heads redone before my build along with pressed in seats. Is it common to dimple around valve seats?

Btw I’ve included 4 individual pics of each cylinder. Same pattern. Rather then sending this to get redone is there a company that sells pre eagle cylinder heads with fixed valve seats or pressed in already?

While I have not seen this personally however maybe its to help hold the valve seats in? I am sure some older members will reply ahaha.

Looks like rebuilder wanted to prevent the seats from falling out.

I'm cleaning my heads right now and mine are staked on all the valves and my first thought, not being a mechanic, was "what is this mickey mouse bs?" But I'm glad that it's not that uncommon. I didn't know that dropping seats was even a thing with these engines (PANIC!), so I guess it's good that I *probably* won't have to worry about it now (calm).

My knowledge on internal combustion theory is limited, but I though sharp points in the combustion chamber would cause hot spots leading to problems with flame propagation. I barely even know what that means, but still.
