I have a 2014 Ram 1500, Since new for the first 3 1/2 years I would get this preview channel when starting my truck, about once every couple of weeks. For the past 6 months every single time i turn my truck on I now get this preview... Although it's only one push of a button to get to whatever channel I want, it's very annoying, and my friends 2017 Ram never gets it...
Is there a way to stop this from continually coming up, anyway I can disable it ?

My 2014 does the same thing and I would swear that when I first bought it the channel that was on when shut off would be retained when restarted. Now same as you it starts on the preview channel. It irritates me, but although I was tempted to post here I never has.

I'll be watching to see what answers you get.

I had a similar problem on my last truck, but that had an add-on XM radio and after 14 years it was failing. It seemed to be loosing the fact that I was subscribed. I replaced it and the issue stopped. So far the one in my '14 RAM has not exhibited the problem.

I don't know if this will work, but maybe pull your radio out, and see if there is a separate SiriusXM antenna pluged in back. If there is try unplugging just the Sat antenna. If your radio recieves GPS from the same antenna, It probably wont work.
My 2015 only has a sat antenna.

The GPS/XM antenna is the same antenna regardless of the year on the 4th gen trucks. The ones you see with the shark fin are a triple antenna, GPS, XM & Cellular (for uconnect). The flat ones are GPS/XM only. If you unplug it you will loose both GPS and XM.
