Does my truck have overdrive?

I bought a 2003 1500 4x4 SLT with the 5.7 in it, and I can't tell if it has overdrive or not. The end of the gearshift was smashed in Alittle so I can't tell if it used to be there or not. Any 3rd gen guys that can tell me what's on their truck? Thanks

Yes your truck has od. And that should toggle between tow/haul and an "od off" of the dash...if equipped, and if it works. Idk if yours would have the tow haul option or not for certain

Me too. I can't even tell if there was supposed to be a button or not, if there was any lettering on the handle it's wore off

There's always a button on the end, it's just a matter if it's simply an 'OD off' button or if it has the tow package it's 'OD off and tow/haul'. And there are two OD gears with the 545RFE.

There's always a button on the end, it's just a matter if it's simply an 'OD off' button or if it has the tow package it's 'OD off and tow/haul'. And there are two OD gears with the 545RFE.

All 03s have just "od off" that comes up on dash. After 03 they all say "tow haul" on dash. It doesnt have anything to do with tow package. Every 03 ive had has been this way and ever 04+ ive had has been this way whether they have a tow package or not
