I’ve only had Warn on my Jeeps. Over the years I’ve only had one motor go bad and that was because it sat in water for about 4 hours and water got in and rusted it so it wouldn’t move

Here’s what that ad tells me. Their winch spools faster and uses less power. What that means to me is that is has less planetary gear reduction, reducing its pulling power, and the motor is weaker. But they’re advertising their own cherry-picked facts to uninformed consumers hoping to capitalize on their ignorance. Sorry, not buying it.

Yeah, Milemarker is king of hydro. To me Warn is king of electric.

I sold my Warn 8274-50, I should never have gotten rid of that beauty...
