Door Auto-Lock Activated

Weird. Without any input, the door autolock feature activated. I always leave my only key fob (bought truck used with only one fob) in the truck and never lock it when garaged at home. I had to pay a locksmith to get the door open and I now am the proud owner of a second key fob. Since a new key fob is so expensive at the dealer, I'm thinking that random, surprise AutoLock initiation is a huge money-maker for them. Has this occurred to anyone else? suspicious stooler

My 07 did that to me twice before I learned to role the window down when I was working on it, so I have not tried that in my 2018. I was told it was a safety feature on my 07.
