I've searched the forum but I didn't see my condition so here goes.
Suddenly, the key fob only unlocked/locked the passenger door (single cab, two doors).
Two days later, the fob also stopped working on the passenger door too (2 key fobs tried, same results)
And, the driver's and passenger's door lock switches both do not function, not even a 'click'.
The two window switches on both sides still operate the windows.
When pressing the fob twice, for lock/unlock, the front side lights will blink once / twice but no horn chirp?
When pressing the panic button on the fob, it starts the horn going off at 1 scond intervals. Pressing the panic button again stops the horn.
I've replaced the driver's side main switch - no improvement.
I've used a spare battery to try and overide the driver's door switch at the door edge by touching the neg/pos leads to the neg/pos wires close to the switch - I couldn't activate the door lock switch in the door with this method??
I'm now going to pull the boot back in the door jam and inspect the wiring harness.
Does anyone have any other techniques to try? Much appreciated!
