Having some custom door lock knobs made for my Rumble Bee and need the correct thread pitch, anyone here happen to know it? Because I can’t find it anywhere, Thanks in advance. Also this one is just a prototype, not as nice as the finished product will be.

Maybe just make the inside diameter a smidge smaller and then screw it on/make your own threads? its only plastic shouldnt take much hopefully someone knows the correct awnser tho best of luck lol.

Do you have the original lock knobs? If so you can take one to a hardware store. They usually have a thread gauge there you can see which one the knob screws onto. Or if they don’t have a thread gauge you can try different machine screws until you find one that screws into the factory knob.

I used to do the hardware store thing but I decided to buy my own…

The only problem with that is Mopar made these knobs weirdly. The inside threads are some sort of soft plastic or almost like a hot glue stick on the inside that will screw onto basically any thread that fits in the hole. The new ones are a hard plastic that needs to have the correct thread. I’d have to take the door panel off and pull the lock rod off the actuator and carry it into the store instead

Since it is very unlikely anyone would know that answer - Easy Button -A thread gauge is $10 on Amazon, be there the next day.
