Stiff LT tires for towing are good, but believe it or not more sidewall = more flex.
This is good for off road, when you want flex and want to air down.
But an LT on a 20 will have less flex than an LT on a 17.
This is the reason why your performance cars like Corvette where the first to start going up in rim size while Jeepers still love 16's.
