My 2007 2500 6.7 broke down started to chug then shut off would not start up again wants to but won't start, I pulled the dpf off and are having it clean, checked the turbo by looking for soot and fins turning everything looks good and clean . Do I have to replace the turbo and actuator ? My question is if there is something I can do before that and get the truck to start up to reduce cost of anything I don't need to do

Could be map sensor gone dirty or bad or vgt vanes stuck in closed position.
Truck should start thou, that might be different problem.
Is the P2262 only code its throwing?

Something else is up here. If the engine was really trying to start I would expect more codes with the DPF removed than just the turbo code you are getting now. What are you using to check codes? If using the key cycle trick try getting your hands on a true code reader and see what it says.

Starting simply.... What's the battery situation? Old, new? What's the voltage drop to when you try to crank it?

That's sounds much more in line now. I say reinstall everything making sure to get all the sensors plugged in securely, clear the codes and then try starting the truck.

Well put everything back on and made sure sensors were on good , cleared code 2262 then it said I had no more codes but the Cat/Egr/Say were flashing on the code reader and it said there was no DTC"s stored in my data - truck would not start sounds like it's starving for fuel wants to start for a 1/10 of a second then stops just turns over

At this point it's going to be process of elimination. Since no more codes hopefully it's something simple like just needing a new fuel filter. Try opening the fuel filter vent and see if fuel comes out. If it's empty then start checking the fuel pump.
