I'm finally getting around to ordering the parts, and getting the work done. I've been insanely swamped with a constant roller coaster of drama and chaos. With that said, I need a bit of guidance and knowledge to get this work done.

1. What tools do I need to remove the door panels safely and correctly?
2. If my door lock works, but when I click the remote unlock/lock, it doesn't move the lock, that would be the actuator that needs to be replaced, correct?
3. With the two tasks listed above, are there any extra parts you'd suggest I order in case of an "oopsie" moment?

I'm hoping to get this done in a weekend, I'm getting tired of not having a mirror that functions, or having people complain about the jiggle when their lights hit it. It's understandable, and I'm trying to fix it.

Google it on YouTube there's lots of video's showing how to remove the door panels on a Ram.It's probably easier then trying to explain it.Trim tools and a decently sized phillips screwdriver or 10mm socket should get the panel off

The tools were the biggest part of that question, I have most of that at home already. Problem solved. Now to figure out how to disassemble the mirror. Should be fun...

Thank you!

The door lock not moving could be the rod popped out of the plastic clip. These clips get brittle with age and are known to break. Replacements can be bought at any auto parts stores. Just make sure you get the same color clip as the one you are replacing. The color of the clip does matter as the size of the rods can vary in thickness and the color of the clip indicates the difference in sizes..
