Hi guys.
I just bought a 2014 1500 Laramie Crew cap, and I an having a problem with the drivers side seat.
The heat doesn’t work, so I searched the forum and could not find what I was looking for.
Button lights up, and stays on. Passenger seat heats fine. So I believe the control box is working as it should.
So I believe my problem might be the heating element itself.
Does anybody know what range of resistance (ohm) a working element should have ? So I can try and measure it out.
I have been trying to find a wiring diagram for my truck, but I can seem to find any. Any pointers ?

My drivers side lumbar support broke, and while I was looking around on that I found the seat heater element all burned up.

I'm satisfied the element in my 14 d. seat is bad. It will warm up, when its very cold outdoors, and once it meets too much resistance, it simply shuts off. I am able to pull the seat and replace the element, however, when I look at part sheets/diagrams, there appears to be 2 separate elements? Other drawings so a single element for both back and seat. Anyone have the correct part #'s for this fix??
